.Three simple thoughts about how teh pandemic should be shaping how we think about our strategy, and how we manage our strategy (after a long break from my emails)
- The past two years have taught us how to manage a far more flexible workforce in dramatically changing times. Lessons we can take forward as managers and organisations.
- At the same time, we have had to react quickly to circumstances, learn quickly from our decisions and adapt our approach as circumstances change. This is dealing with an emergent strategy and managing that strategy as a learning process. Again, we can and should think how we can embed this approach into how we manage our strategies and our organisations way of thinking and working.
- Oh, and have a safe and relaxing Christmas. Hopefully we can get through this latest wave with the lessons we have learnt in the previous ones.
