This is an excellent and accessible guide to the history of economic thinking from Adam Smith though to Keynes, the Monetorists and more recent. A very accessible book, that makes economic theory and thinking easy to understand.
- The undercover Economist, Tim Hartford. Little, Brown, 2006
Tim Hartford, the undercover economist from the Financial Times, brings economic thinking up to date with an excellent guide to behavioural economics. More practical for small scale economics like markets and buyer behaviour.
